Terms of Service

Welcome to AddaLive. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AddaLive mobile application and related services ("Service"). By creating an account or using AddaLive, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. User Accounts

To access most features of AddaLive, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@addalive.com.
• Not create more than one account per person, or create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.

2. Virtual Currency & In-App Purchases

AddaLive offers two types of in-app currency: Coins (purchased by users) and Diamonds (earned by hosts). By purchasing or using virtual currency, you agree to the following:

• Coins (User Currency): Coins are purchased by users and are final and non-refundable. Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash by users.
• Diamonds (Creator Earnings): Diamonds are earned by verified host/creator accounts when they receive virtual gifts from other users. Verified hosts may withdraw accumulated Diamonds as creator earnings through AddaLive's salary programme, subject to platform fees, minimum thresholds, and applicable law.
• Non-Transferable: Virtual currency is tied to your account and may not be transferred to another user or account.
• No Refunds: All purchases of Virtual Currency are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or our Refund Policy.
• Expiration: Virtual Currency may expire or become unavailable if your account is suspended or terminated.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change the pricing of Virtual Currency and Diamond withdrawal rates at any time.

3. Live Streaming & Audio Rooms

• You are solely responsible for the content you broadcast during live sessions.
• Live streams may be monitored and recorded for safety and moderation purposes.
• You grant AddaLive a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, record, and use your streams for service operation, safety enforcement, and promotional purposes.
• Room hosts are responsible for managing their rooms and ensuring compliance with these Terms and our Community Guidelines.

4. Content Policy

You retain ownership of the content you create, but by posting it, you grant AddaLive a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and distribute your content in connection with operating our services.

You agree not to post, broadcast, or share content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or hateful.
• Contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or graphic violence.
• Infringes on any intellectual property rights (copyrights, trademarks, patents).
• Impersonates another person or entity.
• Contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• Violates the privacy of any third party.
• Constitutes spam, unauthorized advertising, or pyramid schemes.

5. Prohibited Conduct

When using AddaLive, you agree not to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Use the app for gambling, solicitation, or any commercial activity without our prior written consent.
• Harass, bully, intimidate, or harm other users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or other users' accounts.
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the Service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app.
• Manipulate virtual currency, rankings, or any in-app systems through exploits or cheating.

6. Intellectual Property

AddaLive and its licensors own all rights to the Service, including the app, its design, logos, trademarks, and underlying technology. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our intellectual property. You may not use our branding, logos, or content without our prior written permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of AddaLive is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully to understand our data practices.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

AddaLive is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Any information or content on the Service is accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AddaLive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to violations of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to access the Service immediately ceases.
• Any unused Virtual Currency in your account will be forfeited, except where required by applicable law.
• You may request a refund of recent purchases per our Refund Policy.

You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, by providing in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
